Dear Ronnie D,
It sucks to hear that you’re so depressed lately. You really shouldn’t be. A lot of times I lay awake at night and think how much I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. Like if you could only climb into my head and share my thoughts with me, you’d realize how wonderful you are. But unfortunately, you can’t do that. At least not right now. Love Only Speaks One Language at the Goodwill
On Sunday morning, I met my parents at Dunkin Donuts for coffee and a pastry.
My father warned me about the dangers of taking a picture of yourself naked in the mirror and putting it up on the internet.
My mother told me that maybe it’s time to switch up my comedy routine and stop talking about female genitalia.

Later, a young Mexican man in a white t-shirt hit on me at the thrift store. When he found out I didn’t speak Spanish, he pulled a giant wad of cash from his pocket. He asked me if I had change for a hundred.
When I told him I didn’t, he indicated that he would buy me whatever I wanted. I contemplated letting him buy me that snowman purse I’d been looking at. Then I fantasized about running away with him.
But then I remembered that I have a boyfriend.
And he has a prescription for Xanax.
